Fan Account: Perfume World Tour 1st Singapore

Can you imagine going to concerts two days in a row? That was exactly what I did. I went to a concert the day before and another concert today. I was really shagged and I had this sinking feeling that I wouldn't enjoy the concert to its maximum. Well, I was wrong! The concert was enjoyable despite a few annoyance that came my way.

Number one being the fact that I didn't get my Perfume Concert Tee. I wore shirt and shorts in order to change into the shirt that I was about to buy and yet they gave me a "Sorry, the shirt is sold out." type of answer. More than annoyed, I was disappointed. No merchandise shopping because the only thing I wanted to buy was the concert tee.

Number two being the fanboys (and a girl) who were nuts. At first I thought it was pretty funny, like how they actually said some sarcastic comments with regards to "Youtube videos". For example, "Yay, more youtube videos!" or "It is dancing to the same song again!" and that craycray Aa-chan fanboy who went "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~ Channnnnnnnnn~" for a few times before the concert actually start and even more so after the concert started.

But... the horror came before the concert started and escalated after the concert started. That girl actually pushed her way through to the front despite her number being at the back. I applaud her for being able to do that without feeling ashamed of her actions. Next, the fanboys pushed to the front, knocked me backwards, pushed me to the side, jumped like some maniac and hitting me in the process, perspiration dripping all over their body. Oh god, I would never want a boyfriend who is a fanboy of any groups. It is a horror and I would never want to know that my boyfriend actually go nuts during a concert. As much as I am "crazy" in a sense, I was never and I doubt I will ever be like that.

The concert was great. The girls were amazing. Who said that "____ has pretty legs" or that "____ is pretty"? Let me tell you, Perfume have gorgeous legs and they look gorgeous in person. Nocchi looks very different from when she is on screen or in pictures. Aa-chan is really adorable when she is speaking. Kashiyuka is pretty. She made the audience laugh with her one word reply to Aa-chan at one point, "Nee~".

This might have been the craziest concert with the craziest fans I have been to. They are even crazier than Korean fans, you can count on my words. But overall, it was a good experience and I managed to enjoy this concert to the fullest despite being drained the day before. The craziness, the pushing, stomping, "dancing", etcetera was really... insanity.

On to the set list! Well, I can honestly say that I don't really listen to ALL of their songs so... and I actually typed this two weeks after the concert (editing my entry in a sense) so I am just listing out all the songs and trying my best to type out everything from my memories. Here it goes!

Before the concert, we were seated outside according to our ticket numbers and given out pamphlets with Polyrhythm lyrics on the flip side. I started singing to it, WITHOUT KNOWING THAT I WAS BEING FILMED. Oh god, I was so embarrassed by it and covered my face with the piece of paper. It was an automatic reaction and that cameraman (who was kind of cute) asked me questions to which I answered. Most embarrassing moment of my life and I hope he never showed that video to anyone.

We were ushered into the hall according to our queue and the concert started out with this apparent "youtube" video and it kept going on, the only thing that changed was the characters that were dancing. The animations were great but it was just too boring, and they kept repeating so.. meh.

♫NIGHT FLIGHT
First actual song of the night that is not the same as what was shown (youtube videos! XD) on the screen!

♫Computer City
Can't really remember~ It was... normal I guess?

♫Electro World
Another one that it normal~ Not much wow factor. Other than the fanboy who was perspiring all over me. YUCK.

Fan interaction time! They spoke to us not knowing that we understood Japanese so we were kind of giggling at their English. Aa-chan was so cute. There was this fan who was called up to do some translations and boy was he amazing. And he was apparently wearing white v-neck with skinny jeans and headphones around his neck, Aa-chan's ideal which was why they called on him. Aa-chan also mentioned that we were being broadcasted, LIVE, in Japan, Taiwan, and some other countries. I do hope that I was not filmed.

♫Laser Beam (Album-mix)
Yay laser beam! Not my favourite remix definitely, but it sounded fine when they were performing~

♫Spending all my time
It has to be one of my most disliked Perfume songs to date but everyone was going high so I was going high~ with them too. Sounds forced. Oops.

♫love the world
I forgot. ):

♫edge (⊿-mix)
Can't remember~ ):

♫Secret Secret
No recollections. ): I think after this song, there was actually some interactions with the audience! Like them splitting us into three groups and naming us, "マー", "ライ" and "オン" which spells out Merlion. We were supposed to cheer when they called us by this name and it was so funny and we just screamed when "we" were called.

I think this was also the part where they taught us a dance that we didn't know what it was for until the later part of the concert.

♫Dream Fighter
I remembered when they introduced this song, everyone was cheering so..

♫FAKE IT
Well, I forgot.

♫Nee
The only thing that came to my mind was J and Nino doing this with them during Sharehouse. What did they do to my head~

♫Chocolate Disco (2012-mix)
Remix that I did not expect that they would do. But anyway, yay! Chocolate Disco!

♫Polyrhythm
Aa-chan was teary-eyed by the start of this song and Nocchi's tears were also threatening to fall. It was quite heartbreaking and at the same time, heartwarming to know that they appreciate us being there at the concert. It was an "aww" moment when everyone cheered the loudest for them.

♫Spring of Life
The first encore song. Aa-chan was almost in tears when she spoke to us before the start of this song. Everyone when, "aww" literally.

♫Kokoro no Sports
I forgot what happened. ):

DORAEMON MADE AN APPEARANCE. They were exclaiming about this "special guest" and I honestly thought it was Nishikido Ryo (since there were people who spotted him in Ion Orchard) so I screamed, into the poor guy's ears in front of me. It turned out to be doraemon and I screamed for a second time, this time it was with everyone so it wasn't as bad I guess.

Apparently, there will be a new doraemon movie and Perfume will be singing the theme song for it. Doraemon was so cute. His eyes could change and the whole talk was hilarious cause it was quite childish. Oops. And at the last part, they were going, "Doraemon left by the 'anywhere door'" and gave this very shocked expression. Haha.

♫MY COLOR
Danced with Perfume to the previous dance steps that they taught us. The atmosphere was really hyped up and everyone was really doing the hand actions and such. This was pretty much the best part of the concert. Everyone was enjoying the concert with the girls and it was unlike how it was during other concerts where it was just the singers singing and us listening type of thing. They engaged the audience and got us involved in the whole concert at the end.

Concert started: 7.00PM, Saturday, 24th November 2012
Concert ended: Cannot remember...

Fan Account: SMTOWN Live World Tour III in Singapore

Met Sziyi at Raffles City (went to buy Taimei!) and we walked to the floating platform through Esplanade. Had a few mishaps along the way but we reached the place safely, towards the helix bridge area. There were a lot of people, Singaporeans are as smart as us, opting for free concerts instead of paying to get into the floating platform. Met a fangirl who, like us, not willing to pay to get into the concert. Like us, she would pay if it was dirt cheap ($50) but not when the prices of the tickets are so expensive and we are not even that ~crazy~ about kpop anymore so...

And then... it started, the rain. It started with a slight drizzle and gradually led to a really heavy downpour. We were contemplating on whether to continue waiting as RITS might cancel the concert. The rain caused all of us to leave our waiting areas to hide in the shelters while waiting for the rain to stop. Ironically, the rain has helped us to secure a better viewing position, a position much better than the initial spot that we were standing at. The whole episode lasted for about 2 hours, which means, the rain helped us to waste about 2 hours of our waiting time, making it less draining to wait rather than not knowing how to spend our time for that 2 hours.

It is a given that we were still quite far from the stage but the screens were really clear and we were able to witness most of the happenings from the screen. The positions that we are at might be on par, or even better than those who paid for the balcony seats (which costs about $218?). I was thankful, the rain was a blessing in disguise. However, it did lead to my socks and shoes getting wet (of which I removed them as soon as the rain stopped because it felt disgusting), bag getting wet, umbrella being destroyed by the strong wind, almost dying in the process and not being able to enjoy fully.

Another thing I found out about myself, I tend to talk a lot during concerts and when I am tired, I tend to speak gibberish for no apparent reason. I am definitely not the best concert partner if you want to watch concerts in peace. Throughout the whole show, I was commenting and talking about random stuff, screaming fanchants that actually strains my voice, waving the light sticks like a maniac when my favorite groups appeared, leaning forward in hopes of getting a better view.

Pushing and pulling was common in concerts, but this person next to me pushed me towards the other side and I didn't even realize that the bag in front of me was not mine anymore. She kept pushing as if her life depended on it and when I pushed back, she just pushed against me even harder (she is not a Singaporean). Then, there was a guy behind me that kept pushing me and dripping water on me. He was such a jerk. I turned back a few times to glare at him and he took no hint. I almost wanted to kick him in his shins. A kid, about 6 years old, who stood next to that guy just kept stepping on my foot. Can you imagine this whole experience? It was practically the worst out of all concerts I have attended! But then again, I am watching a free concert so I can't complain.

After it ended, we gathered our things, mine with much difficulty, and went to the side at which most people were squealing and screaming and yelling. We could see the artistes board their vans to get back to their hotel or going to another place for food. Squinting and looking out for TVXQ and SHINee, we saw TVXQ but the rest of the people were just make-up artistes, managers, SNSD, Super Junior, etc. Left to get a cab (but I called for help from my mum after I realized that it is difficult to hire a cab and it is expensive too), squeezing through the people to get to the pick-up/taxi point. Everyone smells like rain and perspiration, it was eeky but I smell like  that too at that point of time, not complaining!

Setlist:
Removing the interludes cause they are basically the same video that was repeated for about 5 times? And I don't really remember when they play the interlude...
I remembered that one of the interludes, there was the part about trainees and they showed the red ocean. I teared. That interlude was before 'Only One" by BoA.

♫Hot Summer - f(x)
I am not very up to date to f(x) so I don't know this song. I do know the chorus though~ Hot Hot Summer~~

Introduction of f(x)
While everyone introduced themselves and spoke to us, Krystal just kept quiet. Amber actually grew out her hair!

♫Pinocchio - f(x)
My favorite song out of all the songs f(x) have released so far. Knowing the dance and dancing along with hand movements was fun. Everyone should try it!

♫Pine Tree + Polaris - Kangta
Ballad, after 2 upbeat songs. I love ballads so this was actually a plus point for me. Probably the only ballad throughout the whole of the concert!

Introduction of Kangta
He spoke in Mandarin and it sounded weird. At first, I thought he was speaking Korean until I realized that there are no translators at the start. Not enough screams for Kangta but then again, H.O.T. is not our era.

♫爱频率 - Kangta
Mandarin song, with mumbled lyrics. I can't understand his Mandarin conversational skills, what's more when he is singing? I gave up and just listened the the tune of the song. Makes me come to a realization that tune is everything in music, it is not the words.

♫今天你要嫁给我 - Zhou Mi (Super Junior-M) + Victoria (f(x))
It was a great surprise when the music played! I never expected this song (I never saw the set list beforehand) and well, if someone were to sing this song, definitely Zhou Mi and Victoria.

♫California Girls - Jessica Jung (SNSD) + Krystal Jung (f(x))
It wasn't a wow, and I wasn't paying much attention.

♫Just the way you are - Shim Changmin (TVXQ) + Cho Kyuhyun (Super Junior)
A song by Bruno Mars and I have to say, they pulled it off well. Screams for both of them were deafening, the words are not enunciated properly but hey, I have heard enough of Kor-glish to understand the words!

♫Oppa Oppa - Lee Donghae (Super Junior) + Eunhyuk (Super Junior)
Yay! It is just that Singapore fans are not enthusiastic enough to go "Oppa" at the right moment. Well, we are in Singapore. Can't expect much from us. Sigh.

♫History - EXO-K
First time ever listening to their songs. Not a deep impression but it wasn't like I had a bad impression either.

Introduction of EXO
And wow, so many people in the group. I was shocked. The greetings seemed never ending and screams were deafening for the guy who looks like Taemin. What is his name again?

♫MAMA - EXO-M
Uh huh, Chinese counterpart of the said group. I didn't really pay attention to this song. Was more of a hit and miss type of thing.

♫Devil's Cry - Kim Taeyeon (SNSD)
I have to say that her vocals are really good but... I still don't have a good impression of her.

♫Run Devil Run - SNSD
Probably one of their worst song to date. How this song got popular was something that I have never managed to found the answer to. Probably because they released this song at the peak of their career.

Introduction of SNSD
I didn't know who was who. Mixed up Seohyun and Yuri, Don't know which person is Tiffany and how Jessica looked alike to her. Probably the angle but it is still pretty shocking. Gasp!

♫Genie - SNSD
One of the nicest SNSD songs but I still can't unsee the dance so I fought back my giggle every time the chorus played.

♫Lucifer (Remix) - SHINee
Amazing, fantastic, and it rendered me speechless. Probably the turning point to the climax because everyone went into a frenzy at almost every performance after this.

♫Superman - Super Junior
It kind of sounded like some sort of sutra that was being chanted. It is not helping that I don't understand Korean so this whole song was a miss for me.

♫Don't Don - Super Junior
The first ever song from Super Junior that I knew. It wasn't Sorry Sorry (hey, they released Sorry Sorry after I like them okay. And I liked them till the kpop boom). It has been long since I last heard this song so I was quite excited.

♫Purple Line - TVXQ
I still prefer the Japanese version and the Japanese version kept playing in my head throughout the whole song! I can only sing to the Japanese version so I was all quiet in fear of singing the wrong words (in Japanese).

♫Ring Ding Dong (Remix) - SHINee
Much much better than the original version. Maybe I am too appalled by the original due to the many people who attempts to irritate me by playing it everywhere. No offence but hey, this song would have been a hit for me if it was not for the repeated plays everywhere.

♫Bonamana - Super Junior
Not a fan of this song, but I know this song. Cannot unsee the dance due to my sister but they didn't dance to this song.

♫Rising Sun - TVXQ
I am so used to listening to this song without the other 3 members. So used to it that it doesn't sound weird to me anymore.

♫Juliette (Remix) - SHINee
Cannot listen to this song normally again because of Pamela and Angshuang. This is bad. Very very bad.

Introduction of SHINee
In which Jonghyun talked about the blue screen and told us that they would be seeing us again on 8th December. Onew correcting the translator on the date of their concert almost immediately. It sounded too cute.

♫Love Like Oxygen (Remix) - SHINee
How long has it been since I listened to this song? Chair dance, flipping of jackets (except that they are not wearing jackets), being just amazing as they would. This is the last of the remixes that they would be performing. SHINee's stage presence was great throughout all their performances. Kudos!

♫Jet - f(x)
I started becoming tired and listless so I didn't pay much attention to this song. I was physically drained. I never knew attending concerts can be so tiring.

♫Open Arms - Ryeowook (Super Junior) + Onew (SHINee) + Chen (EXO-M) + Byun Baekhyun (EXO-K)
The only high part about this was Onew but I can't even get high. I forgot how the song actually sounds like. Remained tired throughout the rest of the performances.

♫Twinkle - TaeTiSeo
This song was a miss. Not much of an impression was made and I am not saying this just cause I don't like them.

♫DJ got us fallin' in love - TaeTiSeo + D.O. (EXO-K) + Lu Han (EXO-M) + Oh Sehun (EXO-K) + Park Chanyeol (EXO-K)
I love this song. And when I say love, I mean that I really love it. However, I love the original song and not the one that is sung by them. Sorry.

♫Like a G6 - Key (SHINee) + Kris (EXO-M) + Amber (f(x))
Key being a crazy key and he just rubbed his head and his hair went "BOOM". Hopefully someone managed to capture an image so you would see what I mean. He was so adorable.

♫Dance Battle - Jung Yunho (TVXQ) + Lee Taemin (SHINee) + Tao (EXO-M) + Kai (EXO-K) + Im Yoona (SNSD) + Kim Hyoyeon (SNSD) + Kwon Yuri (SNSD) + Victoria (f(x))
When Yunho came out, they actually played "O"! I was shocked and then the rest came behind him and I was all, "oh, I forgot it was supposed to be a dance battle". Wasn't able to witness much so I didn't really went goo goo over the performance.

♫Hurricane Venus - BoA
Well, Hurricane Venus. What more is there to say?

♫My name - BoA
I heard this song somewhere but I wasn't able to put my fingers into it. Kind of diappointing but well, BoA was not my era. Even though I do listen her songs, it wasn't like TVXQ's whose songs I could name by heard the music.

Introduction of BoA
She needs more yellow light sticks to support her. There was only 2 that I spotted. If I were to be going to these type of concerts again, I would bring a yellow light stick just for her. The crowd was unenthusiastic. Everyone must be tired by this time or just uninterested in BoA.

♫No. 1 - BoA
You're still my number one~ This song was one of the first songs I have listened from her. I forgot the first and definitely will not remember every song that I have listened to. This song made a deep impression so I remembered. Simple as that.

♫Sorry Sorry - Super Junior
I used to love this song so much before the kwave was in Singapore, then I started disliking this song. I still had fun singing along, though I wasn't that crazy as before.

Introduction of Super Junior
Eunhyuk with his Singlish, "I miss you la. I love you la." reduced us into piles of laughter. He was so hilarious and everything that he said, he just added a "la" at the back to make it sound Singlish. It is impossible to not crack up at his antics. This might be the reason why Super Junior is so popular. Siwon was missing. I didn't see him at all. But this might just be me.

♫太完美 - Super Junior-M
Oh god, their Mandarin is horrendous. I couldn't make out the words at all and the person next to me was singing out of sync to the song so the whole thing sounded pretty weird.

♫A-Cha - Super Junior
Not a fan of this song, one of their worst songs to date.

♫Mr. Taxi - SNSD
Probably the only listen-able song after Genie. I prefer the Japanese version though~

♫Internet War - Kim Jonghyun (SHINee) + Lee Taemin (SHINee)
This was literally mindf. Jonghyun learnt the art of fan service and all he does in this song is fan service and more fan service. Taemin has been learning and improve his skils of fan servicing. They have been mixing too much with Super Junior and probably Heechul was the one who instilled such ideas into them. Not complaining but at the same time, I CAN'T GET THAT IMAGE OUT OF MY HEAD.
This song stole the show. The screams were deafening, even more so than any other songs that were performed.

♫"O"-正.反.合. - TVXQ
I felt like the other 3 was still here. This is one of the only 2 songs that I could still feel their presence in. No more flower petals or powder at the start and I was quite disappointed. I miss them as five.

♫Mirotic - TVXQ
I could hear the backing tracks. I could hear Junsu. They never eliminated the voices of one part and oh god, I was spazzing like some maniac. Tears threatened to fall.

Introduction of TVXQ
I couldn't really hear them nor the translator but I know that there was something that Changmin said about fans being professional. Maybe it was due to the fact that we waited in the rain for them? Yunho was being ridiculously adorable about something but I forgot what he said. Hey, I was tired. Not enough red light sticks around though. The blue ocean took it al

♫Humanoids - TVXQ
OH.MY.GOD. This song blew me away. It is a much better track as compared to Catch Me and probably the nicest track out of all the new songs they have released in Korea so far. I could do without the auto tune but honestly speaking, they can't. Their voices are not strong enough for the removal of auto tune but I take what I can get!~

♫Why? (Keep Your Head Down) - TVXQ
Fan chants from the 2 of us. Screaming at the top of our voices, I was positive that the people next to us and behind us are freaked out by us. But hey, it is TVXQ we are talking about.

♫Gee - SNSD
I know the dance to this! And I still remember the dance to this. Even though I never liked this song, the irony.

♫Kissing You - SNSD
Probably not my favorite song but I would take this song rather than the cheerleaders' song.

♫Dancing Out - Super Junior
Nope, I don't know this song. No impression either.

♫Only One - BoA + Oh Sehun (EXO-K)
The rain started and we were all fumbling for ponchos, umbrellas, and missed the whole performance.

♫Electric Shock - f(x)
Oh, I like this song too! Maybe it is because of the repeated listen once every week for about a month? That would be 4 times though.

♫Sherlock - SHINee
This was amazing. My first time watching the live performance of Sherlock and I am amazed at their perseverance to continue dancing in the rain. It looks amazing. And definitely the best song after Replay that they have ever released. Now, if they would remove the "SHINee's back" part with something else, this song would be perfect.

♫The Boys - SNSD
Covered the poncho over our head because we don't really want to watch this performance. The rain was really heavy and we didn't want to make ourselves suffer to watch a performance by a group we don't even like.

♫Sexy, Free & Single - Super Junior
I don't know this song and thus, this song is thrown to the back of my head. Not much of a hit either.

♫Catch Me - TVXQ
We stayed, just because of this performance. It looks amazing live but I can't enjoy it fully because of the rain. My glasses got droplets of rainwater that obstructs my vision. The wind was so strong I almost died if it were not for the ponchos.

♫Hope - SMTOWN
Super Junior, being Super Junior, was the first to run out into the rain but the rain stopped in the middle of the song and the rest of the people walked out. There were some of them who acknowledged us and waved to us. It looked like SHINee and Super Junior but I am not so sure on that. Well, at least it was heartening to know that they know that we are there.

Fan Account: The Jay Chou Singapore F1 Concert

The song list /might be/ inaccurate as I am having a hard time retrieving the correct order of songs from my memory but, these are roughly the order of songs that Jay Chou sang tonight!(: There might be a few variations or... more actually.
The night was amazing... okay no, it was more than just amazing. Despite it being a short 1 hour concert, he have sang some of my favourite songs from all his albums. I wonder if you can guess what the songs are!

Here goes nothing! The list of songs he have sang tonight includes:

The opening started with the fog flooding the entire stage and the musicians flooding in to their instruments through the side. Everyone started screaming, squealing and pushing at that point of time. How orderly were we?! When the music started, the volume of our screams increased a few folds and well, you can imagine the point of time when he actually appeared and started singing.

♫跨時代
The dancers, led by XiaoMai and XueGao were amazing. I was legit pointing at XiaoMai cause he was just standing right in front of me (with a crowd of people in front of course!) when the group walked to the extended stage and started to dance in front of us. Jay was amazing and he changed the tune (well, he was singing live so he can do whatever he wants).
“新加坡的朋友們你們好嗎?”
“這是我第一次在新加坡開戶外演唱會!” (okay, not the exact words but you get the idea~)

♫驚嘆號
Everyone started to go “哇靠” and "靠靠靠靠靠靠靠靠" during the chorus (as expected) and it was pretty awesome come to think of it. Everyone sounded so united in screaming (well, only the fans who actually cared anyway!). But the screams when the music started, the screams were deafening.
He stood on a raising platform that allowed us to have a great view of him when singing the last part of the song. The photo came out amazing because well, we had a clear view. How I wish he stood there all night.

♫說好的幸福呢
Did I mention how much I really love this song? So much I can actually memorise the lyrics by heart (well, it actually applies to most of his ballads). We(?) sang to it and he actually heard. I forgot the exact words he used but it was along the lines of "all of you can actually sing this song!" or something. It was as if it was live karaoke at that moment.

♫愛在西元前
Boo, not many people know this song. It was then I actually spotted the lyrics that was shown on the screen opposite the stage and pointed it out to my sister. He just doesn't care and he is amazing. Deal with it.

Interlude where they had a DJ on stage while Jay Chou changes his clothes/costumes (whatever you want to call it).
At this point of time, I actually noticed a red car at the side of the stage. Superb eyesight I have there~

♫迷魂曲
He appeared with that LED jacket that has been used widely since a few years(?) back. His LED jacket was pretty though! The colours of the lights changes and it blinks, create patterns, etcetera. Dancers back on stage with LED costumes (even on their pants!) and dancing to this song. The whole effect was pretty.
And nope, I can't sing this song.

♫超跑女神
The red car that I mentioned earlier was used here as expected. I expected him to sing this song too! Three gorgeous dancers came out with the car and danced to the song. One of the dancers actually danced dangerously close to Jay Chou and well, as expected, MORE screaming as fans went into a frenzy. The dancers had really great figure and I am, admittedly, jealous of their figure. /sigh/ Alright, out of point.

♫開不了口
Started singing to this song again. The person in front must have found me pretty annoying because I was singing to all the songs that I know the lyrics to which was... almost all? Oops? Jay pointed his microphone at us during the chorus and part of the verses. It was another live karaoke session.
“沒有你在我有多煩惱~”
“就是開不了口讓你知道~”
etcetera!

Interlude where they showed the past movies that Jay took part in and a few seconds of Jay attempting basketball with Kobe Bryant. They missed out Treasure Hunter though! (It was a really ridiculous movie anyway. The most ridiculous out of all he had done so far).

♫龍捲風(鋼琴版)
Everyone was in a frenzy after Jay Chou appeared from the bottom while playing a black piano. I don't think I have mentioned about how good he actually looks when playing musical instruments (especially pianos).

And now, he decides to play around with us. “現在該聽一些中國風的歌曲了~你們想聽甚麼呢?” and everyone started screaming about 青花瓷。“ 好,我知道了。” After which, he starts playing unknown music and said nope, it is not the song he is going to sing and started to do some beatbox.

♫青花瓷(鋼琴版)
Right after the beatbox, he played this song on the piano. Not before saying, “你們沒聽過這首歌的鋼琴版吧?青花瓷~” I think I am in love with the piano version of this song. It is probably the best thing I have heard all night.

♫阳光宅男(鋼琴版)
Did I mention how people started to jump along to this song and sang along at the top of our voices? This song has the effect of bringing a concert to its climax. He played the first part in piano and the second, he was without a piano. I too, started to jump along even though I tip-toed throughout the whole concert and my calves ache badly now. Last song for the day and the lights dimmed after a several more repeats by the extras on stage.

Shouts for encore and “杰倫" around Padang except that the volume decreased after some time. The drummer came out and started to drum as per what we have went through a few years back when he came.

♫千里之外
Already used to the version without 費玉清 so it sounded all normal to me. The chorus was again, sung with us.

♫双截棍
The screens showed dragons so I thought the song was going to be 龍拳 but it turned to be 雙截棍. Screams of 哼哼哈兮 filled Padang and also, parts where Jay actually pointed the microphone at us. The lyrics just flowed out of our mouth naturally. He threw his nun chunks to the fans!!!

Another encore call for Jay Chou after he left the stage.

♫霍元甲
“霍霍霍霍霍霍霍霍”, “我我我我我我我我”, need I say more? He threw his fan at the audience and it never landed near me. None of the things he threw actually landed near me and that includes a pair of sunglasses (I forgot which song!!).
The official last song that he ended with.

It had been a great night though there are parts at which I wish I could have done better at such as going earlier so as to get a better view and not having to tip-toe my way through the concert just to catch a glimpse of him on stage. People in front were raising their cameras so high up that I can't get a good view of Jay. Either that or I should have worn heels in order to tower over everyone else and have my chance of looking at Jay when he is singing.

That being said, I wish my voice would sound normal tomorrow and hopefully I wouldn't lose it due to the excessive screaming I did today. It has been a funtastic and amazing night and hopefully I wouldn't suffer from Jay Chou withdrawal symptoms! Feeling a rush of different emotions at the same time

Event: Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de Filming
Date: 8th July 2012, Sunday
Country: Singapore

Starting from the very beginning, I slept till 8.20PM due to the assurance from Amber that she would notify me if anything were to happen at the location, Merlion Park. Woke up at 8.20PM due to an SMS and also a phone call from Ellie and Amber respectively. Both were news that they were going to start filming as the crew members were setting up the equipment at Merlion Park. I tried desperately to rush there asap but I had to at least tidy up for the show that I was going to watch with my parents later.

Reached the area at about 9.45AM and missed 2 of the scenes that they were filming. I immediately looked for the group and missed Ellie completely as I wasn't paying much attention due to the fact that I had already found the group of people and took it for granted that she was also at the area. And this comes the emotional roller coaster ride story that I would be going through.

I have already started with the feeling of hopefulness when I got the phone call to panicking through my morning with the rush to look for clothes to wear and the train ride to Raffles Place. To continue on, I was excited to see him and at the same time, thoughts raced through my head as I was trying to calm myself down that today is not going to be an unfruitful day. And...

I SAW HIM. I SAW SAKURAI SHO. I SAW THIS ONE MAN WHO IS ONE OF THE FIVE THAT MADE ME LAUGH AS HARD AS I EVER COULD. I SAW THIS ONE MAN WHO MANAGED TO MAKE ME GO ALL THE WAY DOWN TO HARBOURFRONT AND WAITED FOR HIM THERE FOR A FEW HOURS AND WENT BACK FEELING DISAPPOINTED. I SAW THIS ONE MAN WHO WALKED PAST ME WITHOUT ME NOTICING HIM. I SAW THIS ONE MAN WHO IS ONE OF THE FEW IDOLS THAT TRULY STIRRED UP THE STORM IN MY HEART. I SAW THIS ONE MAN WHO FEELS SO SURREAL, THIS ONE MAN WHO FEELS LIKE A DREAM MORE THAN A REALITY.

That was basically a summarized version of the feeling I felt at the point when I actually see him, at the point when I actually layed my eyes on him. A flood of emotions ran through me and the tons of things I wanted to say just refused to make its way out of my mouth. The feelings I held in my heart for several years almost had me bursting into tears and I would have if Sziyi was actually there. I was afraid to be looked down upon by the others that were there. I was holding my tears as the flood of emotions burst through me. I was shocked, surprised and it actually feels like my heart was going to explode with all the emotions that I was feeling at that point of time. It was as if I never knew this person actually existed and I knew if I were going to narrate the whole story to someone, they would not understand and I would be the one bursting into tears during the narration.

They filmed at Merlion Park for a good few hours before they wrapped up the filming.  One of the crew member was taking videos of us, which we presumed it to be for the filming, and we didn't notice until the camera was pointing at us. We stayed in the sun for the several hours and went to get a few cups of drinks at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves. While we stayed in there, the filming continued and we were disallowed to go out of the shop. A staff came in to shout at us for standing too close to the exit and we were forced to retreat to the end as there were no seats available in the shop. They (Sho and Keiko) were so close. They came so close to the shop that we were only a few meters away from them. The only thought I had was that "if only there wasn't a piece of glass that separated us". It was more than just a breathless feeling. It was this feeling of euphoria that raced through me, that feeling that didn't allow me to think properly and all I could do was to stay rooted to the ground and stare (albeit rudely). Amber took a photo despite the no photos warning but it was like ninja so all was good.

Raced back to meet the others and went on a frenzy. Everyone did. The filming then continued when they came out from the shop again. It wasn't much but it was the feeling of "being there" and seeing him in person that made us over the moon sun. Keiko went behind the screen, a place that is very visible to us, to hide from the sun and also to listen to certain instructions that was being given out. We waved to her and she acknowledged our presence by nodding at us. Not only once, but at least thrice or more. We felt heartened and contented by the fact that there was actually someone who noticed us. We wanted to wave and call out to Sho but he had this aura around him and he hid behind the giant umbrella most of the time when he walked past. It was only until the filming ended that everyone was dispersing to different areas.

We went towards the area where Sho and Keiko stood, the area where they actually did the filming. Amber and I-forgot-her-name actually went to reenact the scene and their photo got taken by one of the staff that was present. Not to mention that we actually took a photo too but hey, we were actually not part of the staff! With some persuasion on Robin's part, he agreed to send the picture to Robin. We then talked to a few crew members and one of which was this ridiculously handsome Japanese guy who spoke to us. He was the first person that made my heart race after counting each and every of my idols. The voice, his gestures, his smile~ all of it are etched deeply into my brain. I feel ridiculous for liking someone out of my league but I could not help it. But then again, he is out of the story. I am out of the story. I am not pretty, not skinny, not cute, not anything. The type that guys would never like so I practically gave up on any type of romance in my life (well, sort of!).

Stayed around the area and went into the shop where they had their breaks. It was a pub that wasn't open in the morning so they borrowed it for holding purposes and put up black paper to cover the transparent doors. We went in to take pictures and stayed in there for the cooling wind that was generated by the electric ceiling fans. After which, we went out to Fullerton Hotel where we contemplated on where to go next. Amber and her friend had to leave us after that as she had extra classes to attend.

-many things happened in between that I might fill in the next day or so-

Honda-san called to inform us that the filming is continuing at Louis Vuitton flagship shop at Marina Bay Sands. We rushed there immediately after hearing the news and even got a cab to ferry us all the way to Marina Bay Sands from Fullerton Hotel. We walked the place for 30 minutes as we could not see anything at Louis Vuitton. We took the opposite direction and saw them, rushed there, and called our group of people over. They were filming on board the river cruise boat that was circling around outside Marina Bay Sands and we couldn't get a clear view of them. However, we did notice crazy antics from the far distance that made us go "aww~".

I had to leave soon after that at about 3 so I did not get to witness anything else after that. Heard that Sho did some dance after the filming and waved at the fans. Disappointed that I missed it but not disappointed that I went for all these crazy stuff that I would probably only experience once. I am thankful for all the people that made today a fruitful day and I would never forget the whole lot of you who actually made my day despite me not being part of the actual group. Thank you for accepting me into this group.

Fan Account: Meet-and-Greet + Kaiji 2 Gala Premiere

Event Date: 11/11/11

This marks the day where I got chided for going for these 2 events despite having a bad leg (I sprained my ankle the day before). But honestly, I have mixed feelings about this...

Despite having an ankle that was sprained and hurt so much that I could not go to school, I was determined to go for both the Meet-and-Greet and the Gala Premiere because I have been looking forward to these 2 events since the day I know about Tatsuya Fujiwara coming to Singapore. I had mixed feelings about the Meet-and-Greet but I still decided to go for it in the end.

I left my house at 4.45PM and only reached NEX at about 5.45PM. It took me half an hour longer to get to the place because of my bad ankle. Sitting down on the floor with Sziyi (and got reprimanded by her because I was being very stubborn. Sorry. D:), we waited for the event to start at approximately 7PM. Half of the people gathered there were actually Japanese fans and the rest are mostly Death Note fans. The whole area was crowded, even at the 2nd level of NEX where fans also gathered.

Tatsuya Fujiwara was late to the event by 1 hour. I heard he only arrived at 8.00PM (or even later). It might be due to the prolonged press conference that he had at Fullerton Hotel. His schedule was crazily rushed yesterday with press conference, meet-and-greet and the gala premiere being one after the other. The emcee was trying to drag the time by getting audience members to play games while waiting and despite me raising up my hands as high as I could in the air, I never got picked. I am never picked for these kind of things but yet, I was disappointed. We left before Fujiwara came because we had to rush to Cathay (and the time we would take is also longer because I can't run...). I was disappointed for a moment but in the end, I got over it and headed over to Cathay.

We could see fans gathering around the red carpet at the entrance of Cathay while they waited for the appearance of Tatsuya Fujiwara. However, we skipped the red carpet and headed straight for Cathay at which we have to actually queue to redeem my tickets. I was not given a poster with the tickets and I felt a little disappointed. Nevertheless, we went to an area to sit while I ogled at the posters that was everywhere in the cinema area. We took pictures and flail a little more before heading towards the designated theater (Hall 7) in which we waited for the arrival of Fujiwara.

He appeared! He appeared in all black and received questions from the emcee that was there. I, at that point of time, honestly thought that he looked so much better in casual clothing. During the Gala Premiere, it seemed that the clothing was too refined and well, it just looked kind of awkward. He was so cute, shielding his eyes from the strong glare of camera lights that was directed at him. He continuously looked down because the light was too blinding and there were flashes of camera lights and everyone took pictures to our hearts' content (well, everyone except me because the lighting was too horrible and I could not capture his face properly). He spoke and answered a few questions before he left. And right before he left, we actually did something crazy again. We (Sziyi and I) counted to 3 and shouted, "FUJIWARA-SAN, HONTOU NI KAKKOI DESU!" It seemed like we do that for many events and I don't get embarrassed doing that anymore. Oh dear, this is really not good.

We watched the movie with our spirits still high and I was still flailing over him in my head when it was about 10mins into the movie. I have to say that the movie is not really ~amazing~ but I kind of liked it. I have to say for sure that the movie don't do justice to his facial features. He is really much better looking in person. I would have loved to see Yoshitaka Yuriko too and it is a pity that she was not here with him.

The only bad thing that happened throughout this event was my injured ankle and my phone that actually broke down due to my carelessness. This also marks my first experience going to a Gala Premiere. Seeing him (even though it was only for a few minutes) was worth it.

Thank you Fujiwara, for coming all the way to Singapore to promote Kaiji 2, and thank you Sziyi, for accompanying me to the airport early in the morning on Thursday (10/11/11). Hope you had a good experience in Singapore and have a safe trip back to Japan!

I really enjoyed this whole event to it's fullest.

Fan Account: In which I got 2 signatures from Fujiwara-san

I have been bugging Sziyi to go with me to the airport for 1 whole day and she finally agreed to at the end of our long conversation of about 5 hours? So we woke up very early in the morning and went on a airport spazzing session at about 6.45AM or so.

The plane touched touched down in Changi Airport at 6.33AM and I reached the airport at about 6.15AM. There were a couple of fangirls/fanboys that I spotted and one of them actually cosplayed as a Japanese school boy (It was a girl I swear). There was one who had this huge DSLR with tons of camera-related equipment in his huge bag and another with 2 giant boards. I "screamed" for Sziyi to fly here because he will be coming out anytime soon.

At about 7.00AM or 7.15AM, he appeared in the Arrival area. Guilty of spotting him because there were a few people around him and I recognised him. Sziyi spotted him because he took off his shades (in which, I did not happen to witness). We were following his movements when he was still inside and started squealing when he walked out. He was shocked and actually said, "Sugoi~".

One by one, we tried to ask him for his autograph and stupid me actually forgot to bring nice paper so I stole one of Sziyi's sketching book paper for him to sign on. He must have thought that I was weird for asking him for 2 autographs but he still signed twice nonetheless. Yes, I was so close to him and honestly, I was speechless and I could not think of anything to say. Our first thought of asking him for a picture together actually flew away. The group of us followed him all the way to his car and stayed there until they left. A couple of girls managed to pass their gifts for Fujiwara to his manager and while sitting in the car, he actually turned back a couple of times. It was a pity that the car was too dark inside and we were not able to snap some good pictures.

This is one of the best experience of "welcoming" an actor in the airport. I have never walked with an actor (that I like) all the way from the Arrival Hall to his car. I might never get this experience again so I am actually enjoyed it while it lasts. Honestly, even the films don't do his appearance a justice. He is so much more good-looking in real life and much much more handsome/cute. If only I can rewind the time back to 2 days ago....

I never regretted waking up so early in the morning just to see someone at the airport. Honestly.

& he actually looks good both with and without sunglasses.

Fan Account: First JPOP fansign with SCANDAL

I arrived at HMV at around 6.50PM and I was standing right at the back of the queue. Talking to Sziyi on the phone, getting her to run here because she is running late and I could actually hear people screaming at the top of their voices and I don't know what is actually happening in front. When they actually walked in, camera flashes, many people had their cameras up, and I can't see a thing because cameras were blocking my view. They were actually on time (unlike some artistes who would actually be late).

The fansign event was actually quite fast and I was tongue-tied in front of them. Tomomi commented that my hairband was cute and I wanted to say something back to her but I forgot what I actually wanted to say and I was so embarrassed and just uttered an embarrassed "arigatou" to her and smiled at her. I wanted to say something to all of them but my tongue was not cooperating well with me.

Honestly though, they are really very pretty in person. Photos don't really do them justice and Mami is so much prettier in real life. Tomomi is very cute and I just like them more now. I liked Rina more out of them but now, I guess I like all of them just the same. It was an unforgettable fansign and I really wish I can turn back the clock and see them once again.

After our album got signed, we actually sat right in front of the stage and started taking photos with our cameras but none of my pictures came out really pretty. We actually asked this guy to help us take a picture with the poster and our signed albums. Funny but true. Forever loving that photo even though that photo is not with me now.

Thankyou SCANDAL for giving me an unforgettable fansign experience in HMV.

Fan Account: SHINee World Concert in Singapore

I will not be remembering every little detail about the concert but I will try to summarise the best I can. (it has, after all, been 2 days since the concert and what makes you think I can remember all the details when I was all @_@ after the concert.)
First thing that I really feel like shouting out, "I FINALLY WENT TO A SHINEE CONCERT AND FYEAH I REALLY LOVE IT. ;~;"

Despite the fact that I met horrible people along the way, I really enjoyed myself during the concert. I got the best view (imho), right in front of the exit (at which they exited the stage) and I was only one and a half arm length away from them every time they exit. The fan service (despite it not being better than Super Junior’s) was great and I really love it.

Song list is according to someone’s videos in Youtube and I am not really sure if that is the correct order but it is most probably correct. And I re-watched some of the videos to refresh my memories!

♫The SHINee World
Honestly though, I almost cried when the music started playing and it is like… a super high tension song. And all I could think of at this point of time was “Omg I am actually at a SHINee concert,” and to me, it is really like a dream come true.

♫Senorita
I don’t really love this song but the concert made the song much better for me. The dance was so hot and everyone started screaming whenever SHINee did the hips-wave thing (whatever it is called) and it was pretty hilarious how the reaction was immediate. SHINee what are you doing to my brain?

♫Get Down
I really don’t like songs like this and this is probably the only time I will ever like this song. See what live performances do to my brain? They make me go crazy and accept songs I couldn’t accept before.

♫A.MI.GO
Everyone was going “COLD ICE BABY” when the song started. Being in front of them almost meant that we get to see the staff helping SHINee put on those harnesses and it was pretty cool how they were so fast. Jonghyun flew up and the rest of the members were shaking their heads as if they were having spasms was funny. Heh.
OH AND KEY PUT HIS ARMS AROUND JONGHYUN’S SHOULDERS AND IT WAS SO CUTE.

♫Juliette
Thanks to Angshuang and Pamela, I was all hyped when they started playing this song. And everyone was going, “Juliette Ho~” and I was giggling like a crazy girl I am and smiling to myself. And then Minho did that blowing on his hand dance move and all I could think of was “O”.Jung.Ban.Hap. (missing the old tvxq now)

♫Hello
This song sure brings back pretty bad memories for Jonghyun unless the Sekyung thing was a lie. Nothing exceptionally special about this performance except for the shadow thing which I thought was very cool; and how they were in tune with the shadow.

Short MC
Key spoke in English and I was all (‘: (I am sorry that I have to add an emoticon here to express my feelings but that is the only way I can express it). And everyone introduced themselves, followed by screams from the audience. The screams were so loud I swear that if the whole concert hall is made of glass, the glass will shatter. Key introduced the next song, Your Name, in English and then the music started…

♫Your Name
I remember this song as the one that had this gigantic frame moving up and down as they move up and down and then I started crying. I didn’t know what came over me and the next thing I know, there were tears flowing down my cheeks. The frame then broke and there were angel wings behind them.

♫Stand by me
THIS WAS IS JUST PERFECT. Okay I am a sucker for this song even though I don’t like the show –cough boys over flowers cough- that this song was the theme song for. They did the “whaooo~ stand by me” action and then it was all silence for the 2nd time and it was so funny. The audience were supposed to be singing that part!! HAHAHAHA. I swear it was in this video when Key waved to us!! And more Jongkey moments of course!

♫Love Still Goes On
I think it is amazing how I know some of the lyrics to this song despite not listening to it often.

♫Taemin’s Solo (apparently it is called Romeo + Juliet)
I don’t particularly like this song but the dance was amazing even though his costume could have been burned. It was from the Juliette era and I remember it well because I dislike their costumes and their concept.

♫Jonghyun’s Solo (a Wheesung song apparently!!)
Jonghyun’s note is amazing but other than that, I don’t really remember anything about this song. Well… it is not my type of genre I guess? Why so? I am not too sure about that either.

♫Minho’s Solo (OMG by USHER)
The whole performance is very TVXQ incorporated with TVXQ dance moves and TVXQ actions and it just reminds me everything about TVXQ. Especially when he ripped his shirt and pull it down. All fangirls were going “omg so hot. /nosebleeds” but I am going “omg I miss TVXQ”. Wrong group, wrong time but it is my brain and I can’t help it if it thinks like that.

♫Key’s Solo feat. Taemin as a girl (My First Kiss by someone I don’t know and don’t care about)
This song was all crazily hyped because of Taemin dressing up as a girl and I find it so hilarious. Taemin was doing a catwalk down the aisle and going “look I am so prettay~” okay jokes aside, this song was awesome. Even though I don’t know the singer and I don’t know this song, I think this song is pretty awesome (and now sziyi will just say I am biased again!!).

♫A-YO
In other words, the song that made me fall head over heels with the 2 perfections known as Choi Minho and Lee Jinki. I died when Minho pointed at us and Onew doing that peace sign at us right after Minho pointed at us. Can I just marry them already? Okay that was an overstatement but still… Anyway I love this song and doing the dance together with them (just the hand actions!) was pretty fun. I got to enjoy something like that even without my JE concerts. And from our place, we can actually see Taemin running out after changing from his girly costume from the Pen B exit/entrance. It was pretty fun to witness the entire thing.

♫ROMANTIC
Did I mention how much I love this song? Not to mention hearing it live for the first time? This is all you need to know how I felt when I listen to this song.

♫Obsession
I don’t really remember this song clearly. Except the fact that I was actually slanted sideways while trying to see Key (who is right at the other end of Pen B) and people were pushing me against the stupid barrier and I was practically dying.

♫Graze
This is also one of my favourite songs in their first album. We can actually see staff standby with the chairs, ready to bring them up the stage for the boys to dance with, nearing the end of Obsession and I admit, I thought it was for Love Like Oxygen. It was pretty cool I love the choreography for this song. Admittedly, I was staring at Key most of the time but…

♫Replay
First thing that hit me, “THIS IS NOT THE REMIX VERSION!!!!” My favourite song since they debut. Nothing can beat this song though admittedly, maybe some of their other songs are nicer but this is actually still my favourite song. People might say that it is not as nice as Jojo, not their nicest song, but who cares? I love it and it is all that matters. This was the song when they debut and this song will stay with them forever. Can you imagine how happy I was when I heard the music?

♫Love Like Oxygen
It was funny to see this song when they are wearing colourful costumes. I am so used to them wearing black and white when performing this song (ages ago) that it seems funny to me now. And the highlight for me is always the part when they flip their jackets but only Jonghyun had a jacket to flip this time. Regardless, this song is amazing (though not as amazing as Replay).

♫Quasimodo
I was bored during the video, honestly. It just shows they crying, and more crying and the video was long and blam! The music played and they started singing. I love this song though. Someone needs to put Key in an angle in which I can at least not try so hard to see him. Why does he have to stand so near to the end and make life difficult for me? /sad face But the white clothes are pretty so it is a plus point!

♫Life
I almost cried during this song. I think they should know not to put 2 sad ballads together. It will just make me feel like crying and feeling all guilty for leaving fandom. This is actually my favourite song from the second album and I actually cried while listening to the studio version.

♫Onew’s Solo (Nessun Dorma)
Not a fan of operas and I cannot appreciate them. Onew’s voice did sound nice though. I shall take this chance to say that none of the solos actually captivated me. Not even Key’s made me go, “OMG THIS IS AWESOME!” The green laser thing was pretty amazing though! The effect is very pretty.

♫I-think-this-is-a-song-for-kids…?
I don’t know the title of this song due to the fact that I am not a Korean and this is not a SHINee song. It just shows pretty SHINee angels appearing and flying to this kid who fell on the ground and Onew appearing with angel wings to hug this boy and they disappeared through the Pen B exit. And they sang of course!

♫Ring Ding Dong
I got to admit that this song really sounds better live than the studio version. Maybe it is due to the fact that the studio version just pisses me off due to repeated plays (OVERRATED!) but the live was really good. You can actually hear fans screaming to “LING DING DONG LING DING DONG LING DIGIDING DIGIDING DIGIDING DING DING” and I would that pretty hilarious because people behind me were screaming that. And JONGHYUN’S SHOES WERE VERY PRETTY: black with hot pink.

♫Up&Down
Haha this was when everyone’s tension when up the roof. It could have broke through the roof for all I know. The boys were running through the aisle and I think this was the point where Jonghyun looked at us? I remembered he looked at us but did not wave or do anything. Not sure if it is during this song.

♫Ready or Not
And everyone’s tension went higher. The boys just went crazy on stage and began jumping and running around. I still think I am amazing for knowing lyrics to songs I have only heard a few times.

♫Lucifer
It is actually the weirdest song to end a concert with. But this song was amazing except that the remix version still sounds funny to me. I was trying to hold back my laughter when they go “we are the shinee shinee shinee shinee”. It is funny no matter how many times I listened to it. The claws were pretty cool and the laser from the claws (!!); and how they actually did the ending pose with the claws and not their fingers. I was actually going “omg are you serious??!” when the next thing they showed on the screen was “Thank you for coming”.

ENCORE

♫Jojo
I was actually waiting for the Jongho kiss but Minho only ruffled Jonghyun’s hair. On another note, I WAS WEARING THE SAME SHIRT WITH SHINEE. I was so happy when I saw that they were not wearing their own tees. Okay you know that I am weird already. It was a little bit of fashion disaster though. Who would match white pants with white shoes?! And Jonghyun actually ripped his sleeves away.

♫Bodyguard
The only thing I remembered was the boys throwing all the balls at us and I didn’t manage to catch any since the angle is horrible. Key actually kissed the balls before throwing and people were scrambling to get it. I wanted to keep one for souvenir but… regardless; it was actually pretty funny to watch. And they started splashing, pouring water over one another and Taemin actually attempted to spit water at us but we gave the very shock look and he splashed water from his bottle on us. I didn’t get the water though! HAHAHA. Taemin actually spitted the water at Jonghyun and it was pretty hilarious. Sorry Jonghyun. And all the interactions between them were very very cute.

Short Talk
I totally didn’t understand what Jonghyun was talking about and the translator actually translated it to be something like they played with water because it is a very hot day. I was thinking that I have to play with water everyday then! Jonghyun why are you like that!

♫One
Because I know it is going to be the last song… I actually almost cried (yet again). I was on an emotional rollercoaster ride throughout the whole concert.

After which, was their thank you to everyone who went to the concert and they actually picked up a couple of hats to wear and “HAPPY KEY’S DAY” banners. Taemin was such a brat. He was going “Everyone did you enjoy yourself today?” in Korean and everyone was going “YESSSSSSSS” or “DAEEEEEEEEEEEE (which means yes in Korean)” and then he said, “Do you even understand what I was saying?” Taemin why are you like that!!!

And everyone actually sang Key a happy birthday song, cued from Jonghyun. Love for Jonghyun went up a little again. Jonghyun actually said “HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEY I LOVE YOU”, and totally covered Key with pink party string spray. After that, the cue for Key’s random dance party starts (thanks to Jonghyun~)!

Before the concert, I was actually really irritated by this girl who totally spoilt my mood for the concert. She is such a bitch and she is only sec 2. And here goes the story:
She asked my cousin if my cousin wants to queue with her for SWC and my cousin said okay. I requested that she do me a favour by getting someone to stand in for my friend (Sziyi) because she needs to work. She blatantly refuse to help and give stupid excuses just to get out of helping us. I was fine with that. So on the day itself when we queue (at the official queue), I was standing quite in front with Sziyi, my cousin and another friend. She told us that she wants to cut into our queue. I told her a flat no and if she wants to, she can go and talk to the security guards. When we (sziyi and I) went off for lunch, she actually cut into our queue because my cousin don't know how to say no. SEE WHAT A BITCH SHE IS? I hate her and stupid fangirls like that just ruin my mood. She is such a bitch and to think someone like that exist...

During the concert, I was actually squashed between the barrier and the hoard of fangirls trying to squeeze to the front and there were lots of pushing. I was molested and squashed into a very awkward position and slanted side ways and trying to move away, etc. You get the drift.

But I never regretted getting mosh tickets despite the unhappiness I faced before and during the concert. The peace sign and smile from Onew, the fact that Minho noticed us, The fact the Taemin actually noticed that we were smiling at his dorkiness, the fact that Key waved at us, Jonghyun smiled at us, it was all worth it. If only I can turn back the clock, I would get the arena tickets and see this SHINee world in a whole new level.

Another reason why I totally enjoyed the concert, my soulmate was with me. Doing crazy things like buying the shirt, screaming like crazy fans we are, waiting till the crew actually chase us out of the concert hall, screaming happy birthday to key at the top of our lungs when most people left, etc. Thankyou<3

Thank you for bringing me back into the fandom, SHINee.

What makes you think that is the truth?

Disclaimer: I am not PRO!JYJ or PRO!HOMIN. Also not ANTI!JYJ or ANTI!HOMIN in case someone wants to kick up a big fuss over nothing.

After watching Knee-Drop Guru (feat. HoMin) and reading something, I think pro!jyj fans, pro!homin fans and ot5 stans need to stop this insane thing right now. I mean, it is okay to believe in what you want to believe and all that but you don't have to bash people who thinks differently from you right? No matter who you support, jyj or homin, both groups come from the big group known as dbsk/tvxq/thsk so what is the point of arguing over nothing?

As much as you believe in jyj or homin, have you ever doubted them? I know I did. The fact that they said different things from one another and I don't know who to believe. Which is the reason why I just gave up on everything in fact.

Stating an honest fact, I think most people will accept what homin said as the "truth" because they have more media exposure and more people will tend to believe what they hear. You can say that "but JYJ spoke up about this whole lawsuit incident too!" but do you think more people will believe JYJ or will more people believe in HoMin? The answer is obviously homin as they already won (for the fact that they appear on television more often than jyj, the fact that they can speak on programs, the fact that they can even stand on stage to sing while the only time jyj stood on a korean stage was during kbs drama awards. That is hardly fair isn't it?).

On the other hand, what makes you think that jyj spoke the truth about what happened? They might just be spinning up stories from nowhere just to gain the recognition from the public (that applies to homin too. what makes you think that they are speaking the truth?).  JYJ stans doubt HoMin for the same reason that HoMin stans doubt JYJ.

I believe everyone will have their bias in the group. I believe that one tends to lean towards their bias' point of view and believe in them more which is why they took sides. But is it really necessary? You can just support them individually or don't support them at all. It would make things so much easier and it might stop you from bashing others just because their belief is different from yours.

Everyone should just take a chill pill. It doesn't matter if you pick a fight with people who have the same fandom as you, Cassiopeia. The fandom will never be the same again no matter what you say. Going back together, being DBSK again, might not be a good thing. The 5 of them will never be the same again as much as we want them to. Separating might lead to them pitting themselves against one another and I know most of us do not want that to happen, but what can we do? If being together makes it unbearable for both parties, separating will definitely be a better choice. If being together makes them happier, I would say, go for it!

DBSK was once my biggest fandom before this lawsuit which is why I bothered to type this huge chunk of rubbish that people probably won't read. It is just how I feel about this whole thing. Well, not really. I can type a lot more but I am emotionally exhausted now. Time to sleep! Goodnight!

I really cared.

leaving my kpop fandom

Which means that these guys above will not be a part of my life anymore. Sure, I will listen to their music but I don't think I will ever be emotionally attached to these guys again. It will be stupid to hurt myself time and again. Ever heard of once bitten, twice shy? I have been bitten more than once which leads to my current decision to leave my fandom. This decision is not made on an impulse. It is just that... I cannot take it anymore.

Sure, these guys gave me lots of laughter and cheer me up with their funny antics (through their videos) when I am down, make my day feel better after a horrid day at school, etc. But they are also the ones that made me cry (in the bad way I mean!), gave me heartbreaks, make me feel bad, etc. And it lead me to think... Why should I go through the heartaches and sadness when it is better not to even care so much? If I don't bother about all these, if I was not so emotionally attached  to these guys, these people, I would never have had to suffer like that so why bother?

One heartbreak after the other.

TVXQ, my first fandom that started in 2007 (or was it 2008?) that got me into this mess. I cried for a few days after it was announced that these 5 guys will never be together again and that they will go their separated ways.

SHINee, my second fandom, the only fandom that I liked since the day they debuted. Rumours about disbanding had me at a loss for a few days and not to mention, I broke down. Rumours about these guys getting tortured in the company had me angry for days.

U-KISS, my first irrelevant fandom that have always brought me smiles ever since 2008 broke up. 2 members being forced to leave the company had me at loss of words. I cried yet again.

Dalmatian, who have nothing to do with this mess did nothing but I can't stand it anymore.

My only 4 fandoms that is ever relevant to me. I cannot take it anymore. It will never be the same anymore. 2008 was the best year. And it went downhill ever since. I know that I cannot continue anymore. I want to go on but it is just... not the same anymore. I don't even want to return to this scary place ever again. I am escaping... ahead of the others who fell into a deeper trap than me.

I have loved them. I have loved them so much that it hurts. I never thought that I will one day, leave this fandom. I don't know when I will be back again to love these guys. But to the rest, good luck. Please love these guys as much as I have loved them.

because... it will never be the same ever again.

The biggest shock today when I finally manage to surf the net with my computer. I did not expect this. I never did expect this. I would say... it totally tore me apart. I always thought that the 7 of them will stay together until the end. They were one of the groups that I never expected will split up and they... crushed me.

It is never a smart thing to do to invest your time in fandoms and have them betray you by the end of the day. I know that they did not mean it but it still does not erase the fact that it hurts. It hurts a lot. It hurts so much that the only way I can get rid of this hurt is by crying, throwing a tantrum, destroying every single thing I see. They were the last group I would have thought to split up and go their separated ways. You could have well said, I trusted that no matter which group in the industry split up, they will never split, they will never betray their fans, and that... they will always love their fans.

This incident, this shock, this news, shocked me more than any news can ever shock me other than TVXQ splitting up. I said before, I will leave the kpop fandom when SHINee disband but... I think I will be leaving earlier than that. I lost hope. I lost the courage to continue. I don't want to go through the same heartache again. I wish I could be indifferent about this but I really can't. I lost the will to fight on. I lost the will to believe in them. Believe in this industry will just kill me in the end.

I love these boys. I saw them with my own eyes, see them grow, from being a 6-membered group to a 7-membered group and now, to a 5-membered group. I saw them performing with my own eyes 3 years ago when I still don't know who are they. I loved them like I love SHINee. It is not funny that this is happening and if it turns out to be a joke, I will hate them forever for playing with my feelings. But at the same time, be at ease because they will still be together. I know that everything will be different and I can't do anything about it.

Only 5 members left... It will never be the same again. I can only say good luck to my boys, Kevin, Eli, Dongho, Soohyun, Kiseop, and all the best to Alexander and Kibum. I can't promise anything. Can't promise that I will stay. But I will continue rooting for all of you.

Thank you for having been a part of my life. It is time... to say goodbye.

FAN ACCOUNT: Super Show 3 (Singapore)

Just a picture because I am lazy like that. 8)

It was a bad idea to watch a Japanese concert (namely Arashi's Scene Tour) after going for SS3 because it just ruin the entire show for me. I realised that there is not much interactions between Super Junior and their fans and the show is made up of videos, videos and MORE videos.

Lets see:

I actually find it okay to have videos in concerts because it will give them time to change out of their outfits and whatnots but too many of the videos just ruined the entire show. With around 5~6 videos in the whole show and each video ranging from at least 8 to 10 minutes? At LEAST 30minutes of the show was videos and more videos and I was kind of disappointed.
Not to mention, they have 10 members for the concert. Think: Arashi had 5 members, half of Super Junior, and they only used around 3 videos for their concert? The length of each video is also less than 5 minutes. I have to say that in terms of professionalism, Arashi far outshines Super Junior.

I know that it is actually bad to compare different groups but it is to be expected as I am both a J-POP and K-POP fan. I know that different groups hand different styles to carry out their concerts but as this is my first time attending a Korean concert with only 1 group, I was, to be quite honest, disappointed. It did not meet my expectations. In other words, I am saying that Super Junior is quite lazy. I do understand that I might get killed for this later.

Those are the bad points for the concerts so now, I am going on to the good things about it.

Cross-dressing is always a plus point and it means I get to see Donghae is SUPER SHORT dress and it was pretty although, quite awkward. I know about Heechul dressing as Lady Gaga in the show due to spoilers though. But I was looking forward to it nonetheless.

Vegetable outfits!! The cutest outfit in the entire show. I am a sucker for cute things so having cute things in concerts are always a major plus point. Good that they had this vegetable costume to salvage the entire show.  I love them.

FAN SERVICE. Not the most awesome fan service I have ever seen but I still love it. Donghae was around my area most of the time and those who know me will know that I love Donghae the MOST in Super Junior. Which means: insult Donghae and face my wrath unless what you say about him make sense. Donghae was all cute and bubbly and his last statement: "Music please! I am going to have a solo dance performance. (well, he phrased this in broken English)" just killed me. I was all, "Donghae why so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee." after the show.

Leeteuk giving out angpaos was kind of cute. "You want money? -throw angpao towards the fans-" (I bet those angpaos are empty though haha. Poor fangirls.) I was laughing at Leeteuk's antics most of the time.

I heard that the second show (which is the one that I went for...) was better/nicer than the first. But it did not really WOW me so I was quite disappointed. I did not have the "OMG THIS WAS THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER GONE TO!!!11" feeling even after leaving the concert hall which is kind of sad.

Let's hope that SHINee's concert will be much better than this. I am hoping for a near-flawless concert and I hope they will not disappoint me.

FAN ACCOUNT: Fansign that lasted less than 1 hour but filled with fan service [101220]

Long overdue fan account in which I might not remember everything but hey, at least I remember some of it!

Sziyi, Shimin and I went to Bugis Junction right after the event at Marina Square for lunch! It was very empty when we first went there so we decided not to sit around and go for lunch instead. It was around 11+ when we reached? Barricades were already set up and there was a lot of people at Macs.

Ate lunch and went to Kinokuniya because we thought that there will not be a lot of people there so early. Bought KOOL magazine! Yes, the one with SHINee on cover. Me and Sziyi were squealing over it and we bought one each. This magazine saved our lives actually.

We went to Macs again at 1pm and there was already a lot of people there, hogging spaces and all that and we were going, "oh crap! there is no space for us to sit/wait/see him." Shimin decided to go home because she said her encounter with him in the morning was enough to last her for a lifetime (okay, i admit i added that because i forgot what she said exactly). So me and Sziyi were hunting for some place where we will be able to sit, wait, and will be able to see him and changed place a couple of times before we found a quite-good place to wait. It was only 2pm by the time we settled down. I said before that the magazine saved our lives right? We opened the magazines and flipped through the pages. People around us were staring because we were squealing and screaming and it was SHINee. Right.

It lasted for around 30minutes and we had nothing to do after that and started listening to music and Sziyi was teaching me how to dance to Lucifer. /epic fail. There was also this weird background music that had nothing to do with Joongki at all. /shrug.

Song Joongki arrived at around 3.45PM. 15 minutes earlier than the arranged time and we got a shock. I mean, most of the time, the artistes will always arrive late and make us wait for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour for them right? But Joongki came EARLY. I mean, reaching at the designated time will already shock me not to mention early so well, my respect for him went up quite a lot. At least he have sense to care for the fans...

The whole fansign was filled with fan service and MORE fan service. He smiled, waved, did the "Gu-Yongha-wink" minus the twirling and he was so shy. Joongki why so precious... Then the CEO of Tony Moly came up on stage with her children and they had this photo session and Joongki carried the baby in an awkward manner. It looks like a family portrait to be honest. The CEO of Tony Moly was pretty and I dont get why fangirls are jealous of her.

The fansign itself was awesome. He smiled to the fans who went up, talked to them, laughed, etc. One signature took him 5 minutes and it was pretty awesome because we get to see his weird facial expressions and all that. After a while, me and Sziyi decided to catch his attention (you must be thinking, "YOU ATTENTION-SEEKER!!! ;_;") so we came up with a plan. We were going to shout "SONG JOONGKI SARANGHAE" and I was going to wave like crazy and Sziyi was going to do this huge heart gesture. We did exactly as I described and I am pretty sure we caught his attention because when the fansign ended, he looked in our direction and gave us a small wave.

And tada! The fansign concluded. I know this is a pretty short account but hey, I let this dragged for almost 1 month. It is a miracle that I even remembered what happened!^^

FAN ACCOUNT: I saw Song Joong Ki for the first time! [101220]

The event was suppose to start at 10AM at Marina Square so I woke up at 7.45AM (which is late because I have to leave the house by 8.15AM!) to prepare to go out to meet Shimin and Sziyi. I was late (obviously) because I overslept. I was suppose to wake up at 7.30AM but I could not wake up due to the fact that I am lazy and I put snooze on my alarm a several times before I even woke up.

Reached Marina Square at 9.00AM and there was already a whole lot of people there already. 75 people there already at least? We were quite far from the front at first... around 5 rows behind the barrier. When it was 10AM, everyone rushed to the front/side and we kind of ran in front so we became right in front of the barrier but our view was blocked by this big fat ugly white pillar.

Meanwhile, a couple of girl behind me was complaining that Joongki was late (he was late by at least 30mins by the way) and they needed to go home to study and whatever. I mean, seriously, if you need to study then dont come by all means. And they went on saying things like "It is so funny how Japanese guys are so short". Uhm, okay. So Japanese guys are short so we should laugh? Ha.Ha.Ha. And for your information, not ALL Japanese guys are short. After which, they started commenting on local dramas. Autistic VS Retarded or something. I forgot. They are hilarious at some point but it went on for the whole 30mins so it was getting kind of boring to hear them talk. Some annoying kid in front of me took a picture of me lmao. And posted it on facebook. Overnight fame? She thought that I never saw but yeah, I saw and I dont really care. I dont deny that at that point of time, I wanted to make her delete that picture but it is not very nice of me.

Joongki arrived and everyone was screaming crazily. Not as crazy as expected but hey! There was only 100~150 fans at the press conference so the screams are expectedly, not THAT loud. Everyone was busy snapping pictures of Joongki in the shop and he showed plenty of cute expressions. He waved to us a couple of times during the press conference and most of the time, he was blocked from our view by this terrible reporter who kept taking his picture and the other time, by this photographer with a huge camera.

Helped someone took >20 pictures of Joongki because I was standing just behind the barrier. Time to accumulate some good karma! Haha just joking. I was just being nice since she is a pretty nice fangirl! But then again, I would not see those pictures I have taken so it is kind of sad.

When he came out, the whole load of us burst into cheers and screaming "SONG JOONGKI" and "GU YONGHA" and someone beside me screamed "SONG JOONGKI LOOK HERE LOOK HERE." for >10 times I swear. He was only an arm distance away from me and well, obviously I cant reach him but anyway, he was perfection. His face is pale and pretty and cute and pimple-free. Why so pretty~

He kept smiling and waved to us and I swear if I love him as much as I love Key, I would have cried on the spot lol. Thinking back, I wish I cried. He would have noticed me lol. The CEO of Tony Moly took picture with him and a couple of staffs and did I mention? The CEO is VERY PRETTY. She is pretty and tall and smart (should be). Okay i am jealous.

He signed on the huge poster outside Tony Moly so one day, I am going there to take picture of his signature. When he left the store, a hoard of fangirls ran after him squealing and screaming and I was so amused by the situation. It was funny lol.

To think I only know him as the Music Bank guy last time. /guilty

FAN ACCOUNT: MNET Ultimate Live in Asia (Singapore)

the crowd of people at 7am

Our group:
- Brother + friends
- Ang Shuang + Joey + Ang Mian
- Kare Rou + Shi Min + Yan Jie + Clara + Yu Yun + Shuling

Woke up at 5AM and took a cab down with SM and YJ to Marina Bay Sands (MBS) Convention and EXPO hall. My brother and his girlfriend have been there since the night before so off we went to find them and they helped us get into the queue for the coloured tags. Thanks to me... sadly, my brother got a yellow tag instead of a blue tag and he got seperated from his friends. I feel so guilty okay...

The queue for the coloured tags in chaotic at start because we dont know how to get in and it consist of pushing and squishing. Once we got into the convention center, I literally heave a sigh of relief because I got out of the squashing part in the queue (or crowd).

Waited at least half an hour until they started giving out the coloured tags. Until then, I was reading my magazine. That particular magazine was a waste of money because there is nothing interesting inside. Costed me a few dollars okay! And then I was so tired after only sleeping for less than 5 hours so I rested for a while.

After we got the coloured tags (yellow), we went off to Marina Square for brunch (breakfast + lunch) and bought our "dinner". It was lucky that we decided not to go back late because the queue started earlier than the expected timing of 1PM. When we went back to MBS at 11.30AM(?), there was already more than 100 people in the queue for the yellow tags. Shocking.

Spend out time there playing Snap Jack, Dai Di (Big 2?), Bridge. I still dont understand the concept of bridge to be really honest. Snap Jack was fun and Joey screamed at one point and people were looking at us. Woops.

LAUNCH started moving us into the Exhibition Hall at 3.55PM but we only started going in at 5.15PM. My camera was confiscated because this PERSON checked my whole bag and the pockets of my jacket also. I was kind of annoyed because I wanted to take pictures. Went into the hall and stood in the middle portion of the stage. Saw a group of inconsiderate girls who stood on stools and blocked the view of the others. "Oh, the organiser said as long as we are not above 2M in height it is okay. I am only 186CM after standing on the stool!" Some of them even wore high heels AND stood on the stools. How inconsiderate!

The concert "started" with the videos of various MVs of the groups who are going to perform. That is, MBLAQ, MISS A, 2AM, BEAST, 2PM. There was Oh Yeah, Y, Bad Girl Good Girl, Breathe, You Wouldn't Answer My Call, Soom, Beautiful, Heartbeat, I'll be back, etc with some advertisements.

(songs sang will not be in order because my memory is terrible but I will try to remember all the songs that they sang.)

Song list is thanks to empireboys and scanationsg.

The concert officially started with MBLAQ as the first group.

♫ Oh Yeah
♫ Y
♫ Last Luv
♫ Mir solo (rap)
♫ Joon solo (modern dance/ballet)
♫ G.O solo (ballad)
♫ Seungho solo (dance)
♫ Cheondoong solo (ballad + dance)
♫ What U Want
♫ One Better Day

To be honest, I wasn't really going to this concert for any bands and was kind of shock that I started screaming when they came out. The only bad thing about this is that MBLAQ was at the front stage most of the time and thus, I hardly had any eye-candy to look at for the first 30 minutes of the concert. I had a clear view of Mir and Cheondong though!~ And when one of them came to the front, I was screaming crazily. Blue eyeliners are... *_*

One Better Day was my favourite song for MBLAQ. I have always loved this song. So as the last song by them, I was already screaming crazily and singing along. I did not even notice that they did not sing G.O.O.D Luv until after the concert.

MISS A was the only girl group performing that night.

♫ Breathe + Chinese remix
♫ Love Again (Chinese remix)
♫ Poker Face
♫ Fei dance solo
♫ Jia dance solo
♫ Min dance solo
♫ Suzy's video message from Korea
♫ Bad Girl Good Girl

It might be because most of the fans who attended were girls so they had very little screams (as compared to the other groups) from the hall. But nevertheless, I was screaming for them, louder than I did for MBLAQ. It might be the adrenaline taking effect or maybe I was just getting hyped up.

Fei is tall and pretty. Min is cute and pretty. Jia is just, in one word, awesome for the night. Everyone screamed when they saw Suzy on screen in the VCR though. Guessed just as much that Suzy is well loved by most fans, boys and girls alike.  Min spoke to us in English and Fei and Jia spoke to us in Chinese. As expected, Min talked most of the time because not all the fans in the hall are from Chinese-speaking families.

Bad Girl Good Girl is awesome as always. The only thing is that they performed on the main stage and not the extended stage and we could not really see the dance moves clearly. Kind of sad because I really love this song. I still sing/scream along to this song though!~

And the highlight for me for the night, 2AM!

♫ Can't Let You Go Even If I Die
♫ Confessions of a Friend
♫ I Was Wrong
♫ You Wouldn't Answer My Calls
♫ I'm Sorry I Can't Laugh For You
♫ Like Crazy
♫ No.1

Mostly due to the fact that 2AM was on the extended stage most of the time and I could see them very clearly. Especially Jinwoon and Jokwon who were right in front of my very eyes. When the music came out for Can't Let You Go Even If I Die, the whole hall burst into loud cheers. The cheers that were threatening to make the hall collapse was kind of not very suitable for ballads though.

Seulong was right in front of my very eyes for a few minutes and I was going crazy. In case no one knows, Seulong is my favourite member in 2AM. I was kind of sad that he stood on the other side most of the time though but at least Jinwoon and Jokwon was right in front of me so it was alright... I guess.

2AM prepared presents for the "fans" in a form of TEDDY BEARS! Jokwon was the cutest when throwing the teddy bear. He took the teddy bear and kissed it many times before throwing the bear to the fans. The bear landed very close to me but my hand was too short to actually grab/catch it. The people who grabbed the bear was fighting over it and resulted in 2 people falling on the ground. The hall was in a state of chaos for a few minutes before it returned to normal.

I shouted "SEULONG SARANG HAE YO" from one end of the hall to the other. He did not hear me though. THe screams from the fans around were too loud and one person's voice could hardly travel to him right?

BEAST (B2ST) had the honour of being the 2nd last performer of the night.

♫ Special
♫ Soom
아직은
♫ Bad Girl
♫ Mystery
♫ Oasis
♫ Beautiful
♫ Shock

So the whole hall burst into loud cheers and screams for BEAST. Possibly the loudest cheers so far. BEAST was on the main stage most of the time but when they came to the front, it was all eye-candy for me. Doojoon was right in front of my very eyes and he waved towards us. Kikwang was on the left of Doojoon and well, I heard that most of the cameras in front of Hyunseung (who is just beside Kikwang) pointed towards Kikwang instead and Hyunseung have this sad look on his face. Poor boy.

BEAST was awesome. The only thing was that they do most of the cheorography on the main stage so I can hardly see any of the cheorography which made me mad. The people in front of me were blocking my view and they were not even B2UTIES (not like I am one either) and they did not even pay attention to the boys. But from what i can see of the cheorography, it was awesome. It was like a video on youtube playing right in front of my very eyes.

Sad to hear that they left right after their performance to the airport. They have to leave Singapore for Korea on the same day as they had many rehearsals lined up for their concert (or so I heard). They came to Singapore on the same day too, just for the concert. Poor boys need a rest ASAP.

No surprise at 2PM being the last performers of the night.

♫ What Time Is It
♫ Don't Stop Can't Stop
♫ I Hate You
♫ Without U
♫ Only You + Winter Special
♫ Angel
♫ Members intro video
♫ I'll Be Back
♫ Tired of Waiting
♫ 10 Points out of 10
♫ 2PM in Singapore video
♫ Gimme The Light
♫ Again & Again
♫ Heartbeat

Cheers for 2PM was the loudest for the night (as expected). Not that I really WANT to see them seeing that I had already seen the whole group (7 members) 2 years back in 2008. It is not that I hate Jay or that I like him either but the feeling of seeing them was just... neutral. The same as back in 2008. Maybe it is due to the fact that I am not a hottest that I seem to be neutral to them.

Dragged to the side after the first few songs and well, from the side, I can see the whole stage clearly. Made me question why I was stupid enough to stand with the crowd and not seeing the first few acts than stand away from the crowd and able to see all the performance. Pretty happy from the side where I can see practically everything!

Everyone was doing the thumbs up thing during I'll Be Back and it was kind of hilarious. I followed suit and laughed while doing it. I still find the dance stupid even though i like the song. Danced to Again & Again, 10 Points out of 10 and Heartbeat at the side. They never noticed us though... and I am kind of sad.... JUST JOKING. Not that I really get the dance moves correct anyway. It was just for fun. On the contrary, it is a good thing they never noticed us because I might be getting all the dance moves wrong.

They wore angel wings during the performance of Angel and gave out lollipops to lucky fangirls (or fanboys). No one ripped their shirt. /sad.

And so it ended and I went home with this nice feeling. My $172 was not wasted. Afterall, I had a nice time singing along, dancing along and most importantly, I had fun. I was not going for any of the groups so I am pretty satisfied with what i can get. This will probably be my last free standing concert unless you tell me JE boys are gonna come for concert or SHINee or U-KISS. Other than that, I am NEVER going for standing concerts ever again. Getting squashed is not my idea of having fun. Going there to queue early in the morning is not my idea of having fun either. Stampedes are scary.

Date of Event: 4th December 2010
Started: 5th December 2010
Ended: 17th December 2010

FAN ACCOUNT: In which I fell head over heels with Kevin Woo all over again [101118]

Went out at around 10.45AM to go to the airport to see U-KISS with SY. Reached Terminal 3 at around 11.30AM but there wasn't many people there... sadly. After SY came to meet me at 1PM(?), we realised that it was suppose to be at Terminal 2 so we rushed there by Sky Train and got a sit in front of the barricade. There wasn't a lot of people at that point of time because not many people know that it was at Terminal 2. FALSE INFORMATION BY SOME FORUM. ):

So we were in front of the barricade waiting for a good 2 hours before U-KISS arrived. As expected, everyone stood up about 30mins before the plane landed and we were one of the few (only <10 people) people still sitting down lol. Quite annoyed by the people behind who are pushing us and we felt to suffocated so we stood up when the plane landed for around 15mins. Almost (note the word) all the fangirls started screaming when the plane landed and it was kind of funny.

U-KISS CAME OUT 30MINS AFTER THE PLANE LANDED AND WAS WAVING TO US FROM THE BAGGAGE COLLECTING BELTS. Everyone started screaming when they saw the boys. According to some people in front, the boys waved at us so it lead to more screaming.

So, Soohyun heard fans screaming Kiseop apparently and got Kiseop to look at us. KISEOP DID THE "I LOVE YOU" SIGN TO US. Putting his hand over his head and making a heart shape if you get what I mean haha. AND EVERYONE JUST DIED LOL. It resulted in more screaming and flailing and squealing. OMG KISEOP I THINK I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU THERE AND THEN.

After which, they walked out and the screams intensified. My hand was shaking so much I could not even take clear pictures so all the pictures I took were very blurry. Alexander was waving to everyone and Kiseop was waving to our side when he walked pass. DID I MENTION? I WAS ONLY ONE AND A HALF ARM AWAY FROM KEVIN. I SWEAR THIS BOY IS PRETTY EVEN IN REAL LIFE AND TALL. I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I SAW KEVIN OKAY. LIKE OMG I FINALLY SAW HIM AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS. /cues: sobbing/ No, all of you dont get that feeling because I waited 2 years just to see him again. Eli is handsome in real life. TV appearances dont do him justice AT ALL. Soohyun was the last to come out so uhm, sorry Soohyun but Kevin took my attention away from you.

The whole thing went by in a flash but I can say that I did not regret waiting a few hours just to catch a mere few seconds glimpse of them. I hope that one day I will be able to catch the live performance of these boys again. These boys are just, in one word, amazing. But even amazing is an understatement if you get what I mean. Fan Service is a major PLUS point for them.

Sorry if this report seemed a bit too fangirly. Haha~ And nope, I still cannot get over the fact that I am only one and a half arm distance away from Kevin.

i love u-kiss more than you can ever imagine.

is it time to leave shinee world?

It have been already a few days since I know about it. Well, or you can say, heard rumours about it. And it is only now that I have the mood to write it. The past few days have been crazily hectic which sort of made me not think about it but well, I will still have to say something about it right? So I figured, better now than later.

To be honest, I really dont know what to feel about all these rumours. It was a mixture of emotions between sad, angry, frustration, etc. When I first saw and heard about it, it was as if a bomb have landed in front of me and it was going to explode within seconds. There was no time to run and well, obviously you will stay rooted to the ground. It caught you by surprise. And that was exactly what happened to me. 2 years of being in the KPOP fandom did not keep me prepared for the worst news that can happen in the industry: disband. A word that I am afraid of. A word that I have not gotten use to. A word that killed me once.

Ever since I stepped into the world of kpop fandom, I told myself to be mentally prepared for the worst. I have gone through hell when TVXQ disbanded. It was the first ever kpop band I ever like and till now, they still hold a special place in my heart. When the news first came out about them disbanding, I had a shock of my life. I had expected it but I did not expect it to happen so suddenly, without warnings of any sorts. The whole lawsuit dragged on for more than a year. I thought that if they will disband, they would have already disbanded in that time frame of a year but no, they did not. So I have believed that they will not disband. The news about disbanding that came shocked me. I cried. I cried while talking on the phone. I did not know what to do at that point of time. Is the same thing going to happen to me again?

I want to believe that nothing will go wrong. But can I really? Now, there is rumours of SHINee disbanding. The one and only kpop group that I have loved since debut. What do you expect me to do? Cry? Scream? I dont know either. All I know is that I want to believe that they will not disband or rather, I do not want them to disband. It is a wish, a hope. The chances of it coming true is close to zero. I know it is a matter of time that their company will split them up. But I have only been in the fandom for 2 years. 2 years... is not a very long nor a very short time frame. 2 years is not long enough for me to enjoy the feeling of being in the fandom. But at the same time I am thankful for the 2 years because I still got to enjoy them longer than people who got into the fandom much later.

I said that I will leave the kpop fandom behind when SHINee disband. This statement is made because I would have lost all hopes in kpop fandom. All my hopes for a better kpop world would have been crushed. I have already seen TVXQ disband right before my eyes. SHINee is the last heartbreak I can manage before crumbling into bits and pieces. I dont want to go through the same heartbreak. It hurts... it hurts badly. It is only after you go through the heartbreak will you understand the feelings I have now. Fandom is like my life. I know I cannot live without the existence of the thing known as fandom but at the same time, it is fandom that gave me the most heartbreaks. How ironic but that is life.

Can I really leave kpop behind once SHINee disband? Only time will tell. And I hope the time will not come any time soon. At this point of time, I can only hope. Hoping for the best out of all these.
